
Cristal Sanchez
Cristal Sanchez is a bilingual reporter at the University of Missouri focused on solutions journalism and covering marginalized communities. She is a senior who is interning with the Missouri Afterschool Network where she lobbies for afterschool programs and is involved with their political communications. Cristal previously interned for Spotlight Delaware, where she helped grow their Hispanic audience. She also wrote for the Missouri Business Alert, publishing the outlet’s first Spanish news-story and is the co-founder of ¿De Veras?, a mid-Missouri Spanish-language news outlet.
