Emma Flannery

Emma Flannery is currently a student at the Denver Ad School, studying to be a copywriter. She graduated from the the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May 2025. She worked with WWG during her senior year. She was formerly an intern at KCUR, Kansas City’s NPR station, where she worked as a reporter, producer and writer. Her work includes reporting on unhoused communities, local government and politics, higher education and culture. She has previously worked for the Columbia Missourian, the Freedom of the Press Foundation, Kansas City Magazine and Modern Luxury.
