Bryan Chou

Bryan Chou earned his master’s degree in journalism (with an emphasis in data and investigative reporting) from the University of Missouri in May 2025. He is now a freelance reporter and fact checker for the Guardian and other major publications.

Chou holds a Bachelor of Arts in foreign languages and literature from National Taiwan University and has three years of experience as a journalist in Taipei covering politics and human rights, including issues affecting Southeast Asian migrant workers in Taiwan. He also briefly covered higher education and health for the Columbia Missourian. He speaks five languages.
