John Eligon
New York Times National Correspondent.
John Eligon is a New York Times national correspondent covering race, based in Kansas City. His work documents the nuances of America’s struggle with race issues, from the protest movement over police violence to the changing face of the nation’s cities and suburbs. He is developing a book about the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement and the experiences of people of African descent.
THE STUDENT
Eligon’s student reporter will be assigned in the fall of 2020.
