Mavis Chan is a senior majoring in journalism and political science at the University of Missouri. Originally from Hong Kong, Mavis focuses on print and digital journalism, but has experience in TV and radio news as well. She has worked mostly in local news, covering topics such as higher education, state government and community events. Her writing has appeared in the Columbia Missourian and ARLnow, an online newspaper in Arlington, Virginia.
