Mark Ossolinski

Mark Ossolinski graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism with his master’s degree in 2022. Previous roles include being a digital editor for MissionWired. He also interned for the American Prospect and covered state politics for the Columbia Missourian. In college, he interned for the Missouri Information Corps, covering climate change in Missouri, and contributed reporting to the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting.

During his time with WWG, Ossolinski worked with Grunwald to investigate the relationship between agribusiness and climate change.

Michael Grunwald is the author of “We Are Eating the Earth” (Simon & Schuster, 2025). It’s about the food we eat, the farms that make the food, the forests that get cleared to make room for the farms, and the search for technological and political solutions that can prevent us from eating the earth.
