Maggie LeBeau is a junior at the University of Missouri studying journalism and history. She has worked at Kansas City PBS as a Dow Jones News Fund digital media intern and at KBIA, Mid-Missouri’s NPR affiliate, as a state government reporter and morning anchor. She is also a member of the National Association for Media Literacy Youth Advisory Council. LeBeau was a 2024 PBS News Student Reporting Labs Fellow, where her work was published on PBS NewsHour and Teen Vogue, and was a 2026 Radio Television and Digital News Association Scholar in Washington, DC. At Mizzou, she is a campus tour guide, journalism ambassador, and member of the Alumni Association Student Board. LeBeau is passionate about community storytelling and hopes to be an investigative journalist after graduation.
