Jamie Lu is a sophomore at the University of Missouri studying journalism and constitutional democracy. She is a Stamps Scholar conducting research under Elizabeth Lucas. She is also the Data and Investigation Chief at The Maneater, a journalism ambassador and the Co-President of Mizzou’s IRE student chapter. In the past, she’s covered arts and culture, local law enforcement and artificial intelligence at higher education institutions. She has previously been a reporter for The Osprey Observer.
Lu is the Watchdog Writers Group reporter for the 2026-2027 academic year. She will attend events and interview authors for articles on the WWG News section of this website.
