Beatričė Bankauskaitė

Beatričė Bankauskaitė earned her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri in May 2023. Her focus was on documentary and photojournalism. Prior jobs include assistant editor for a feature film and film department assistant for the Museum of Moving Image in New York City. She also worked as a reporter at the Columbia Missourian and 15 MIN, one of the largest digital news outlets in Lithuania, covering parliament elections, social justice, and education. Bankauskaitė’s journalism interests center on social and environmental justice, social movements and migration. During her time with WWG, Bankauskaitė worked with Mya Frazier to investigate the relationship between class mobility and the credit system in the United States.
