Amber Roldan is in the accelerated masters program at the Missouri School of Journalism, studying reporting and writing with a women and gender studies minor. She is finishing her degree in New York City, where she is an intern at the New York Post and is working on a consumer-based research project that studies the effects of daily media saturation. In summer 2026, she was an intern at The Coloradoan in Fort Collins. Previously, she was at the Georgia Recorder as an Atlanta Press Club intern. She also worked as a community and city council beat reporter at the Columbia Missourian and as a writer for The Tasty Guide while studying abroad in Italy.
