Azmat Khan is a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter writing a book for Random House uncovering the human costs and consequences of American and U.S.-supported aerial warfare around the world.
In this workshop, Khan will focus on the methodology, OSINT tools, and investigative approach behind “The Uncounted” and “Civilian Casualty Files,” including core skills conducting accountability reporting on war, whether on the ground or from a distance.
Subjects will include
- L Mapping tools for ground reporting, building a database, and analyzing data
- How to combine OSINT tools & ground investigation
- Developing a methodological approach for an investigation
- How to investigate airstrikes and civilian casualties
