Cayli Yanagida

Cayli Yanagida is a second-year graduate student with an emphasis in Cross-Platform Editing and Producing at the University of Missouri. She graduated from Mizzou with her Bachelor’s degree in 2024 with an emphasis in Reporting and Writing. In the past, she has covered state politics, business news and worked in magazine journalism. She has previously worked with all five of the Missouri News Network outlets in Columbia, regional outlets like The Olympian and The Kansas City Star and local independent news outlets such as the Houston Herald and Springfield Business Journal. Her interest area is in the arts and culture scene of rural communities.
